Course Details
Air Compressor Technician is a 60-hour online, self-paced pathway divided into three courses. This pathway introduces learners to core concepts of air compressor technology and prepares them for further steps in a career as an air compressor technician. Course 1 is approximately 20 hours and focuses on fundamental skills, troubleshooting, digital systems, and communication.
The pathway is aligned with SACA certification, and learners who successfully complete the pathway will have completed coursework for four SACA micro-credentials:
- Pneumatic Troubleshooting 1
- Electrical Systems 1
- Motor Control Troubleshooting 1
- Electric Motor Control Troubleshooting 1
The pathway does not provide SACA certification; those who wish to become certified will need to complete one or more SACA exams.
